Paul O Donnell Said,
I was born 40 years ago and was brought up every day to the songs of the Dubliners and Luke as my father is a very proud Cabra man and we loved it. The hairs still rise every time i hear the pure magic of the rasp of his voice. I sing his songs everyday and will until i meet him. Thank you for the legacy and may you rest in peace. Paul.
bob waters Said,
brought up with Irish music and discovered Luke just a couple of years ago. few singers have moved me as much. I am also a bagpiper and have a good feel for music. Wish I had discovered him sooner. Was in Irlelan at o’Donoghue’s Pub but before discovery. love to get back there again as it will have a deeper meaning
